6 The Stooges albums
The Stooges - the American rock group, frontman which is Iggi of Bottoms. The Stooges the garage fate and the so-called proto-punk played. Their early albums have rendered a great influence on development of a punk rock and alternative music.
The group has been based by Iggi the Priest (vocal) with bass guitarist Dejvom Alexander and brothers Ronom (guitar) and Scott Eshtonami (shock). The concert debut has taken place in heluinn 1967 at University of Michigan. Then Stooges acted under name Psychedelic Stooges, and played a warming up at such groups, as MC5.
«The Stooges» John Kejl from Velvet Underground was a producer of the debut album with the same name. The album left in 1969 and has occupied 106 place in charts of the USA. In next year there was a second album «Fun House», written down by the a bit changed structure. Then the tendency to the group disintegration, bound not in the last instance with universal abusing narcotics in what Iggi of Bottoms has especially caused a stir has begun. Soon after record of the second album the group was left by Dejv Alexander who has died in 1975 from a pneumonia against alcoholism [1]. In 1972 the group has practically broken up. In same 1972 Iggi has got acquainted and has made friends with David Bowie. Bowie has invited two participants Stooges - Iggi and James Uiljamsona - to Great Britain, and has provided with it the contract with Columbia Records. Attempt to revive The Stooges with the British musicians has been undertaken, but without having found suitable people, in group brothers of Eshtony have been returned.
