Maroon 5 - a rock group into which structure enter: Adam Levine (a vocal, a guitar), James Valentine (guitar), Jesse Carmichael (keyboard), Mickey Madden (bass guitar) and Matt Flynn (shock). Though the age of group also isn't so great, but the background of collective originates with 90. Three school friends Levine, Carmichael and Madden in 1995 in Los Angeles have generated group Kara's Flowers, executing youth fate.

Having concluded the contract with a label «Reprise» musicians together with legendary producer Rob Cavallo, have written down and have let out a debut album. In 1999 having left a label «Reprise», musicians rename themselves in «Maroon 5», taking in structure of group of new guitarist James Valentine. Besides change of a name the collective has a little replaced the musical course, now musicians bring into the world adult alternative pop/rock.

The debut album of group Songs About Jane of 2002 became gold, platinum and multiplatinum in many countries. In 2003-2005 has passed the first concert round of group, in support of album Songs about Jane then the first concert album of group Live - Friday The 13th has been let out. In September 2006 group has left Ryan Dusick, and its place has occupied Matt Flynn.

Already having the status of star group, Maroon 5 let out the second studio album It Won’t Be Soon Before Long in the May 2007, five years later after exit Songs about Jane.
