Leslie Feist, born on February, 13th, 1976 - Canadian the author/executor (singer-songwriter). It acts solo under name Feist and in group Broken Social Scene.

Has grown in Ridzhajne and Calgary. The first steps in music has made as the vocalist of group Placebo (but not known British Placebo) which has won competition Battle of the Bands and as an award has gone to round with group Ramones as warming up collective. After 5 years of constant traveling with concerts Feist has been compelled to make a pause to treat the sat down voice. It has moved from Calgary to Toronto in 1998 and has started to play a guitar. By 1999 it was a part of group By Divine Right in a role of the guitarist. Besides it it has let out solo album Monarch (Lay Your Jewelled Head Down) the same year. The Recording of the album has been financed by the grant of the government of Canada.

In 2000 Feist has driven in one apartment c Peaches and Gonzales and has appeared as the visitor-vocalist on album Peaches The Teaches of Peaches. Then it has joined studio sessions of group Broken Social Scene for albums Feel Good Lost and You Forgot It In People. Later it has moved to live to Paris. In Europe it cooperates with Norwegian Kings of Convenience as the invited vocalist on their album Riot on an Empty Street.
