Bruce Frederick Springsteen — the American rock- and the folk musician and the author of songs. Brought up on Elvis Presley's music, Vudi Gatri, Pit Siger, Eddi Kohrejn and Bob Dilan, Springstin became known thanks to the rock songs with the poetical texts which basic theme is its native land, New Jersey.

At teenage age Springstin played a number of domestic rock commands. To the beginning of 1970th he has lodged in the New York area Greenwich-Villidzh where acted with songs with strong touch of folk fate in the spirit of Bob Dilan and Van Morrison. With uncompromising sincerity he aspired to reflect in the songs of expectation and sorrow of the working American of an average hand.

In January, 1973 there was a debut album of Springstin, «Greeting from Asbury Park, N.J.», for which in half a year the disk «The Wild, the Innocent and the E-Street Shuffle has followed». They haven't involved considerable attention and were on sale not very well though after triumph of the subsequent plates all the same became platinum. Moreover — the song «Blinded by the Light» from the first album of Springstin in 1977 has reached the first place in Billboard Hot 100, truth, performed by command Manfred Mann’s Earth Band.
