14 Avenged Sevenfold albums
Creative biography Avenged Sevenfold has begun in 1999. By that moment the group consisted of four persons: M. Shadows, Zacky Vengeance, The Reverend and Matt Wendt (ex-bass player).
Though the group also doesn't concern belief, its name is taken from the Bible. On a bible legend if someone tries to help Cain, to Adam and Eve's son, «it will be revenged seven tomes», as it is translated as «Avenged Sevenfold» (abbr. A7X).
The group has let out a demo with three songs: Forgotten Faces, The Art Of Subconscious Illusion and Thick And Thin.
After, they have let out one more demo in 2000. Songs Lips Of Deceit have entered into a demo, We Come Out At Night and songs from the previous demo.
The first album of group carrying name Sounding The Seventh Trumpet (2001), has been let out on their first official label Good Life Recordings, when ìåòàëêîð (style, in which the album) is sustained as the genre only has started to arise.
In group then yet there was no lead-guitarist, but necessity for it was already felt Zaks was only the rhythm guitarist, but not the soloist. Then The Rev has called in group of the participant of group Pinkly Smooth, SSynyster Gates. After the lead-guitarist has joined group (right after a recording of the album in 2000), introductory track To End The Rapture has been rewritten with Gates, and the album has been republished in 2002 already under a wing of the new sound recording company Hopeless Records.
