56 Alice Cooper albums
Elis Cooper (a real name Vinsen Damon Furne), was born on February, 4th, 1948 to Detroit of the State of Michigan. The beginning of its musical career was necessary for 1964 therefore it is no wonder that now on its concerts go the whole families.
As push to creation of the first group for 16-year-old Winnie Furnie creativity The Beatles which have visited for the first time the USA just in 1964 has served, having infected America with a virus of general Beatlemania. And it is equal in nine months (as symbolically!) In Detroit there was a group doing parodies to "Beatles" songs - The Earwigs into which structure entered vocalist Furne, guitarists Glenn Bakston and John Tatum, bass player Dennis Danuej, drummer John Spir. A year later the group was renamed in The Spiders and has a little replaced the musical orientation, having passed to the music similar on Yardbirds and The Rolling Stones. By this time the place of Tatuma was occupied with Michael Bruce (Michael Bruce), and Spira - Nile Smith (Neal Smith). The Spiders have written down and have let out two singles in 1967 then were once again renamed. The new title - The Nazz - has been borrowed at one of songs Yardbirds. At last, on March, 16th, 1968 the quintet has acted for the first time under name Alice Cooper, which Furne took to itself as a pseudonym and doesn't leave it and to this day.
